Arc Technologies Group Appoints Life Sciences Industry Veteran David Williams as VP, OT ICS Cyber Security Practice Lead

DW- Welcome

[Wichita, KS] – July 2nd, 2026: Arc Technologies Group (ATG), a premier technology partner for the life sciences industry, announced the appointment of David Williams as Vice President, OT/ICS Cybersecurity Practice Lead. In this role, David will spearhead the firm’s efforts to secure manufacturing floors, R&D facilities, and specialized lab environments for life sciences organizations worldwide with new and existing customers alike.

David brings 28 years of life sciences manufacturing and R&D experience to ATG, having spent the vast majority of his career in enterprise pharmaceutical manufacturing. For the past seven years, he led global OT/ICS cybersecurity practice across 36 manufacturing and R&D sites, managing a $90M+ portfolio. Under his leadership, a “Securing Science” transformation program delivered eight consecutive quarters of measurable risk reduction.

His appointment comes at a critical time for the life sciences sector. While the industry’s mission to deliver life-saving therapies remains paramount, securing the legacy infrastructure required to produce them has become increasingly complex.

“Too often in the life sciences industry, OT and lab cybersecurity programs fail to deliver their intended ROI,” said Jason McKinley, CEO of Arc Technologies Group. “Companies invest heavily to secure decades-old environments, but these initiatives frequently just add layers of operational complexity and bloat budgets, all while failing to mitigate the actual underlying risks. By bringing David on board, we are giving our clients a partner who has sat in the manufacturer’s seat. He knows how to cut through that complexity to build security programs that protect the science, empower the operators, and deliver clear, measurable value.”

At ATG, David will focus on continuing to build out the OT cybersecurity practice, running client engagements, and shaping service offerings that bridge the gap between IT and OT. His approach centers on translating complex cybersecurity initiatives into actionable strategies that plant managers, lab directors, and CISOs can all trust.

“Most OT and lab environments weren’t built to be secured; they were built to run, and security was often bolted on later,” said David Williams. “The operators who succeed in closing that gap aren’t necessarily the ones with the biggest budgets. They are the ones with partners who truly understand the regulations, safety systems, and operational realities of pharma manufacturing. I joined ATG because we share a fundamental belief: life sciences companies deserve the full picture: knowing exactly why they are doing something, what they are implementing, and how they are going to get there with ROI… not without it.”

With this strategic hire, Arc Technologies Group reaffirms its commitment to helping life sciences companies scale their impact and secure their operations, ensuring they can focus on what matters most: delivering products to patients safely.
